Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 15, 2026
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to gopibhoyar.com, a free resource operated by Gopi Bhoyar that helps job seekers discover overlooked employers with fewer applicants. By using the site you agree to the terms described below. For any privacy-related questions, please use the Report an Issue form on our homepage.
2. What data we collect
When you submit your email address to access the PDF resource, we generate and send a one-time six-digit verification code to the address you provide. This code exists solely to confirm that the email belongs to you. It is automatically and permanently deleted within ten minutes of generation — or immediately upon successful verification, whichever occurs first. It is never stored beyond that purpose.
Once your email is verified, we retain it as a subscriber record. This is the only personally identifiable information we hold about you. We do not collect passwords, payment details, names, phone numbers, or any other personal data.
As an incidental consequence of standard web communication, each request to the site passively conveys certain technical signals — including an approximate device category inferred from the browser, a country of origin resolved from your network connection, and a referring URL if one is present. This information is held in aggregate only and is never linked to your identity in any way.
If you choose to submit a report through the site's issue-reporting facility, the email address and message you provide are collected solely to investigate and resolve the matter you described. Submission is entirely voluntary. The site does not use cookies, tracking pixels, browser fingerprinting, or any third-party analytics scripts.
3. How we use your data
Your email address is used exclusively to grant you access to the PDF you requested and, where applicable, to notify you of meaningful updates to that resource. The verification code serves no purpose beyond confirming ownership of the email address and is discarded immediately after that confirmation is complete. We do not send newsletters, promotional messages, retargeting communications, or any correspondence unrelated to the resource you requested.
Technical signals such as device category, country, and referrer are used only in aggregate to understand how the site is accessed. They are never combined with your email address or used to identify, track, or profile any individual.
Issue reports are used solely to investigate and resolve the concern raised and are not used for any secondary purpose including marketing or product development.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For users located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, your email address is processed on the basis of consent — expressed by your act of submitting the registration form. You may withdraw that consent at any time by unsubscribing as described in Section 6. The verification code is processed as necessary to perform the verification service you requested. Passive technical signals are processed under our legitimate interest in understanding site usage, given that this data is strictly aggregate and non-identifying.
5. How data is stored
All data is stored in encrypted cloud infrastructure. Verification codes are subject to automatic deletion no later than ten minutes after generation by a time-to-live mechanism enforced at the database level. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, analytics platforms, or any other third party for commercial purposes.
6. Your rights & unsubscribing
You may at any time request access to, correction of, or deletion of the data we hold about you. Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link; activating it immediately stops all further communications. To exercise any of these rights, please use the Report an Issue form on our homepage. We will respond to all substantiated requests within thirty calendar days.
7. Data retention
Email addresses are retained for the duration of your subscription. Verification codes are deleted automatically within ten minutes and are purged immediately upon successful verification. Records marked inactive after an unsubscribe request are retained for up to twelve months for fraud prevention purposes, after which they are permanently deleted. Issue reports are retained for up to twelve months from submission, then permanently deleted.
8. Children's privacy
This site is intended for individuals of working age and is not directed at children under thirteen. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under that age. If you believe a child has submitted data through the site, please contact us via the Report an Issue form and we will delete it promptly.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
10. Contact
For any privacy-related enquiries or requests, please use the Report an Issue form on our homepage. We are committed to resolving all legitimate concerns in a timely manner.
